This year the Ulysses Philomathic Library will be hosting an adult summer reading program: Between the Covers. Readers are invited to pick up a punch card, read and comment on books, and be eligible to win tickets, gift certificates and to share your love of reading with the community. After three punches, you are eligible to win great raffle prizes. With each punch comes a chocolate kiss too! Summer Reading for Adults Begins June 6th!
We will also be hosting a series of speakers on the topic of dreams and several musical groups every Monday night at 7 p.m. beginning June 20th.
This year adult summer reading is supported by the Kitchen Theater, Viva Taqueria, Wegmans and Target. If you would like to support adult summer reading with a gift please contact the library.
As of June 18th, the Ulysses Philomathic Library will be open from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday- Thursday as well as Friday from 10-5 p.m. and Saturday 10-2 p.m. Extended hours are funded through to a grant from the Community Foundation’s Bernard and Shirley Rosen Grant for youth.
