FrostBite Mini Golf Open to Benefit Primitive Pursuits Scholarship Fund
Who is ready for some mini golf in February? Yes, that is correct, we said MINI GOLF in February at the first ever FrostBite Mini Golf Open!
Primitive Pursuits is announcing a scholarship fundraiser taking place at T-Burg (mini golf) Entertainment Center on Saturday, February 25th. This family event, the first of its kind in Central New York, will consist of a miniature golf tournament for adults and a fun filled round of wacky mini golf for children. Everyone who registers will receive raffle tickets for chances to win prizes. Additional tickets will be given away based on scores and challenges. Primitive Pursuits will be there to light the fire and keep it burning for some mid winter camp fire roasting.
Primitive Pursuits has awarded over $10,000 in scholarships in the past year and having a fundraiser event like this will allow them to continue to offer them.
Pre-register for the chance to win more prizes by contacting Primitive Pursuits at 272-2292 x. 195. Donations are on a sliding scale of $10 to $20 for individuals and $25 to $50 for families. On the 25th, registration and practice will be from 11am – 12pm, with a golfing start time of 12pm and an awards ceremony at 1:15pm. Wilderness skill sharing with Primitive Pursuits and a chance to cook over the fire will be ongoing through out the event as well as ice skating temperatures permitting.
Members of the local business community may participate in this important fundraiser by either sponsoring one of the miniature golf holes or by donating items to be added to the prize pool.
